These Terms and Conditions govern your use of SciQuest, a science-news and educational website published by Apps For Nexus Digital Media. By accessing or using SciQuest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
Science information, not professional advice
SciQuest explains scientific research, discoveries, missions, and related news for general informational and educational purposes. Content is not medical, legal, financial, engineering, safety, or other professional advice and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who can assess your circumstances.
Science develops as evidence changes. We work to distinguish established findings from preliminary evidence, interpretation, and uncertainty, but articles may later require correction or updating. Eligibility and accounts
You may browse public content without an account. If you create an account, subscribe, comment, vote, or enable notifications, you must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by law.
SciQuest is not directed to children under 13. A person who cannot legally agree to these terms must use account or interactive features only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- break applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, servers, or data;
- introduce malware, interfere with security, overload the service, or disrupt other users;

Normal search-engine indexing, linking, quotation, and other uses permitted by applicable law are not prohibited by this section.
Comments and other user submissions
You retain ownership of material you submit. By submitting material for publication, you give SciQuest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate and promote the relevant feature. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant that license.
We may moderate, refuse, or remove submissions that violate these terms, create legal or safety risks, or undermine constructive discussion. We are not required to publish or preserve every submission. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or third-party personal information.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, SciQuest’s original text, branding, site design, graphics, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to SciQuest and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Research papers, agency images, quotations, trademarks, and other third-party materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and any stated licenses.
You may link to SciQuest and make limited quotations where permitted by law and with appropriate attribution. Other reproduction, republication, commercial reuse, or creation of a substitute archive requires permission unless a license displayed with the material allows it.
Advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate links
SciQuest may display advertising and may use affiliate links. An affiliate link can earn SciQuest a commission if a reader makes a qualifying purchase, without changing the price paid by the reader. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature, account, or part of the website. We aim to keep SciQuest available and accurate but cannot promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability of every article, or freedom from all technical errors.
