Two feeding black holes found 4,900 light-years apart in an early galaxy merger
JWST and ALMA find two feeding black holes 4,900 light-years apart in a merger 1.3 billion years after the Big Bang. How we know, and the X-ray caveat.
What it does not show Chandra cannot split the pair; the 3.7 Eddington ratio assumes a heavily obscured X-ray model, while simpler fits give 0.2 to 0.5.
