On 26 march 2022, Nasa’s and ESA’s solar orbiter probe made the closest approach to sun. Its temperature was approximately 500 degree Celsius and it captured images from within the orbit on planet mercury. These footages show the closest ever images of the sun showing the hot gases spiking from the surface of the sun. The solar orbiter also observed multiple solar flares, coronal mass ejection which will help in forecasting space weather. Scientist across the world will study the footages and the huge amount of data gathered by the solar orbiter to evolve our understating of our closest star. Latest updates about Water on Mars
According to a new discovery, Mars had water more recently than what was previously thought.
The discovery was made after the analysis of martian rocks by Chinese rover on mars, suggesting that liquid water existed hundreds of millions of years more recently than what was previously claimed. #wateronmars #mars #sciencenews

Nasa’s inSight lander on mars has detected the largest mars quake on the surface.
On 4th May 2022, The Insight lander detected a quake of magnitude 5 which is the largest mars quake detected since its landing on mars in November 2018.
Nasa says the insight team will dive into the date related to this quake and analyze its origin and scope. On earth, the earthquakes are caused by shifting tectonic plates, but on mars, the mars quakes are thought to be caused the cooling process of mars over time. The cooling of mars causes the planets crust to become brittle and get cracked, which leads to shaking of the surface which feels like a quake. these marsquakes are still very weak compared to the earthquakes we experience on earth, But for mars, magnitude 5 is still the highest one detected by any rover or lander. The Inshight is equipped with very sensitive seismometer which has detected more than 1300 mars quakes since it landed on mars in November 2018. The initial quakes felt by insight were of low magnitude, the last highest mars quake detected was a magnitude of 4.2, But the current on is the largest ever detected which was calculated by insight to be magnitude 5. Nasas Insight lander has completed most of its missions. It completed its expected missions in December 2020 and is living its extended life missions which will complete in December 2022.

Magnesium is a vital mineral that is part of more than 300 chemical reactions in our body.
It keeps our muscles and nerves functioning properly.
It keeps the heartbeat steady.
It helps the body in making protein, bone and DNA.
It keeps the joint cartilage healthy.
It helps in maintaining a balanced blood sugar level.
The surprising part is that Our bodies can’t make magnesium, so we need to take it orally. The amount of magnesium our body needs depends upon our gender and age.
For females of age 19 and above it is 310 mg per day
For pregnant females it is 350 mg per day
For males under age 30 it is 400 mg a day and above age 30 it is 420 mg a day.
The best way to take magnesium is through food. In order to maintain a healthy level of magnesium in our bodies, leafy green vegetables, beans, fish, nuts and whole grains are advised For more details, refer to this article:

There is something else that you should be aware of. The concept of black holes was first known in 1783. According to British scientist John Michell, light cannot escape from enormously huge objects due to their size. Follow @_spacetalkies_ for more

Color does not exist in the real world, continue reading below for another explanation - To understand this, you must understand that there is a difference between an object having the inherent quality of colour and that object's ability to reflect light at different wavelengths, based on its atomic structure, giving it the appearance of colour. Any given object will reflect light at a particular wavelength giving it the appearance of colour, even though none of its atoms actually posses the quality of that colour. Take a red apple, for example. The skin of the apple, when viewed in white light, will absorb most frequencies of incoming light and reflect back only red frequencies. The apple is not actually red. In fact, red light is not actually red. It is merely light of a certain frequency that we have evolved to interpret as red (the same goes for any other color within the visible light spectrum, for that matter). Look closer at that apple skin. Closer. Closer. Eventually you will see only atoms. Atoms made of protons, neutrons and electrons, none of which are inherently red. Instead, you will find atoms with electron shells emitting invisible EM radiation (light) at the frequency we call red. Our eyes capture this reflected light and cone cells at the back of the eyes respond to the incoming light, sending electrical signals to brain which creates an image in our consciousness, with appropriate colors. In our mind, the apple appears red, even though it is not actually red.
